Context
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to contribute to the delivery of our client's flagship initiative : the delivery of a new Portal for employees that will be used as from Jan 2024.
Together with the CPO, he/she analyzes and defines the business requirements that will allow the development of our new Portals for Employees and Clients. A good understanding of the web technologies and a successful experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the web platform development and in the Agile way of working are required. The BA has excellent analytical and communication skills allowing him to understand & challenge the stakeholder requirements and to dialogue with the UX designers, architects and the PO’s.
Mission
He/she organizes and leads workshops with stakeholders representatives, documents the requirements, build good relationship with the stakeholders, pro-actively proposes structured approaches to help building and implementing the Portals roadmap.
Function description
- Identify business needs and helps to develop business requirements
- Act as interface between the PO and the initiative owner
- Bridge the business needs with IS
- Define and analyze the business model using modelling techniques and methods
- Manage the risk, quality and issues
Profile
Required experience
- Experience in web technologies
- Good understanding of IS concepts
- Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods
- Business experience
- 5 years as BA for complex project
- Strong analytical skills
- In-depth understanding of business processes
- Experience within a financial institution, or a large company
- Fluent in English and one of the two official languages
Offered on freelance basis with a client 50% remote located in Brussels.
