AS400 Application Manager

Context

We are looking for an AS400 Application Manager for a major client who needs to strengthen their internal team. If you are looking to join an international company within an IT department organised in product mode and where the agile method is de rigueur, you are in the right place!

We offer a long term assignment of minimum 12 months, where teleworking is accepted.

Mission

As an AS400 Application Manager your tasks will be to:

• Ability to work in an international context in English.
• Ensure the evolution of applications with a constant concern for overall consistency
• Supporting users in expressing their needs
• Draw up the specifications (specifications, deadlines, etc.).
• Define the appropriate solution, the tasks to be carried out, the planning and the resources to be implemented according to the hardware and software architecture in a Risk management approach.
• Design and develop programmes or manage external development consultants
• Define and carry out the technical and functional test phases and procedures (planning, validation, etc.)
• Develop and write technical documents and materials for developers, users and IT departments in charge of operations
• Controlling the recipe, parameterisation, production start-up and monitoring phases
• Providing or arranging for technical support for the various users of the application
• Ensure the stability of the said applications
• Analyse technical and functional problems and propose corrective measures.

Profile

The technical skills required for this assignment are as follows:

• Mastery of AS400 development language
• Professional English
• From 5 years of experience
