IT Functional analyst (F/M)

Context

Our client specialized in the banking field is looking for an IT Functional Analyst to join them. You will be working on identifying and proposing solutions relevant to the business goals and environment.

This client based in Brussels is looking for someone with well developed analysis and solution design skills.

Mission

Your daily tasks will depend on the advancement of the project.

During the preparation phase:

• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to define requirements and propose alternative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise rules and standards for architecture and security.
• Work with architects to establish the overall solution architecture.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure a unified understanding of the client's needs.

Elaboration phase:

• Elaborate on the chosen solution and translate business requirements into functional requirements.
• Design the solution and identify the impacts on different application components.
• Align with technical teams to specify their requirements and ensure their involvement in the development process.

Production phase:

• Define supported components (queues, security, integration layers)
• Support suppliers during the development and integration and assembly testing (I&AT)
• Assist release and deployment teams in different environments

Post-launch support:

• Provide 3rd line support to operational entities and helpdesks
• Analyze production incidents and coordinate solutions
• Maintain relevant documentation

Profile

This role requires 3 years of relevant experience in order to make the best of it:

• Experience as a functional and/or technical analyst in IT field
• Good knowledge of web services and RESTful APIs
• Experience of designing API Swagger definitions
• Good documentation skills – knowledge of UML, BPMN, etc.
• Programming background (able to read and understand code)
• Technical background: Web, Mobile app, XML, XSD, JSON, SoapUI, Postman
• Knowledge of analysis methodology (according to company standards)
• Fluent in English and at least one local language (FR or DU)
