Security Architect / Application Security Consultant F/H

Context

To support our client, a major player in the banking sector, our freelance Anywr team is currently looking for a freelance Security Architect / Application Security Consultant (F/H).

Mission

Define and control safety requirements in projects before they go into production.

• Develop and maintain application security standards (cloud infrastructure and APIs) and promote their adoption within IT functional teams.
• Participating in the design phases of the security architecture for our own products and third party services
• Determine security protocols by assessing business strategies and requirements.

Participate in the security assessment of internal developments.

• Provide advice and recommendations for correction to developers and administrators.
• Define security best practices and standards and ensure that product development teams understand them and receive relevant annual training on secure coding.
• Work with product development teams to help prioritise and validate the urgency of mitigating identified product vulnerabilities and requests for security feature improvements
• Assist with application patch management & dependencies (detection of vulnerabilities, definition of the correction action plan, etc.)
• Improve the security code review process.
• Supporting a technical team of 3 application security engineers on these issues.
• Transfer of skills & experience sharing.

Skills required:

• OWASP Top 10
• Securing APIs
• API Management / Gateway
• Authentication & authorisation system (JWT connection token, API token...)
• Flow signature / Flow integrity checks
• Protection against replay of requests
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure & GCP)
• Web Application Firewall
• IPS/IDS
