Our client specialized in the banking field is looking for a key specialist who can advise them on microservices design and dockerization. The role supports our development team in the matter and work in connection with the architect team. The mission is part of their global transformation program.
This client located in Brussels is looking for someone who will be able to onboard quickly and jump in several projects with a wild range of technical matters as well as very diverse teams in a global and worldwide environment.

Mission
The Software Engineer is committed to helping the team deliver a high-quality product at the end of each sprint. In order to do so, they may need to extend their knowledge beyond their specific domain in order to collaborate effectively with other team members. The focus is on completing the sprint backlog, which contains all the items that the team has agreed to deliver, and the sequence of these items has been determined by the Product Owner based on client’s needs.
Profile
In order to ace it, you’ll need:
- Proficiency in popular programming languages and frameworks used in microservices environment such as: Java; Node; React; Angular; JQuerry
- Mastery of containerization tools like: Docker; Ansible; Jenkins; Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of architectural frameworks (hardware, OS, networking, databases, middleware)
- Familiarity with industry-standard development tools, including Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and version control systems
- Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices for ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data
- To be fluent in English in addition of speaking either Dutch or French
You can make it even easier by:
- Using your experience with integration on different technologies (distributes/mainframe) and infra components
- Having good knowledge of agile methodology
- Mobilizing excellent analysis skills
- Having a team oriented mindset
- Promoting continuous improvement (market evolutions, working methods, …) to improve delivery speed of software and hardware, and to improve operational quality
- Providing an expertise in agile software development methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams through the entire software development life cycle.
